Functional prototype

Active scoliosis rehabilitation depends on repeated self-correction, breathing, posture control, and long-term adherence, while many monitoring devices feel clinical or provide feedback that is difficult to understand. TeXpine uses textile sensing and therapist-guided calibration to translate body correction into an understandable visual metaphor, aiming to support training while reducing the feeling of continuous surveillance. The design spans sensor layout and garment structure, individual calibration and staged training, feedback for understanding rather than raw data display, and wearability, aesthetics, maintenance, and acceptance.
